Storms Could Bring Hail, High Winds to Eastern KS

(Flickr Photo by rsaxvc)Severe weather could be headed for eastern Kansas. Rain and thunderstorms are forecast later today (TUE) and overnight in eastern Kansas, with the strongest storms along and south of I-70. Kris Craven is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Topeka.

Craven says the storm is the same one that dumped heavy snow on some areas of Colorado. Parts of western Kansas could see snow, but in eastern Kansas the storm will mostly bring rain or freezing rain.
