Soybean Farmers Brace for Impact of China Tariffs

U.S. farmers have been selling about $12 billion worth of soybeans to China each year.

After months of sparring with trade partners, the United States is poised to implement wide-reaching tariffs this Friday on imported goods. As Harvest Public Media’s Amy Mayer reports, China is retaliating by targeting imports of U.S. soybeans.

Harvest Public Media is a reporting project, focused on food, fuel, farms and other stories affecting the rural Midwest.
