The first significant snowfall of the season is expected across northeast Kansas as early as Saturday night or Sunday. Kyle Poage (rhymes with rogue) is with the National Weather Service in Topeka.
Along with the snow, Poage says much cooler temperatures are also expected, with highs only in the teens early next week.
