Wacky Weather Expected Wednesday Morning
Severe thunderstorms are uncommon this time of year, but that's exactly what eastern Kansas could get Wednesday. And not in the afternoon, but in the morning!
Meteorologist Matt Wolters, with the National Weather Service in Topeka, says severe storms -- packing high winds and possibly hail -- could fire-up in eastern Kansas anytime after 6 o'clock Wednesday morning. The strong winds and lightning will also create an elevated fire danger on Wednesday.
