A conference on rural opportunities has opened in Salina. Sponsored by the Kansas Department of Commerce, the two-day conference is an
opportunity for telecommunications and business groups to share ideas and expertise. Steve Kelly is the Deputy Secretary for Business Development at the commerce department.
Kansas Governor Sam Brownback opened the conference today (WED) by welcoming the more than 200 people in attendance.
