Following a devastating bird flu outbreak in the Midwest this past spring, authorities fear the worst this fall — an even bigger outbreak. These fears are focused on the fall migration, when wild birds fly south for the winter. But as Harvest Public Media’s Amy Mayer reports, officials still don’t know exactly what the biggest threats are.
