Politics, Religion, and Our Founding Fathers

Week of March 18, 2018: what our Founding Fathers really thought about religion and politics. Matthew Stewart takes issue with the idea of America as a "Christian nation" in his book, Nature's God: The Heretical Origins of the American Republic. Stewart spoke at the University of Kansas as part of the Humanities Lecture Series, sponsored by KU's Hall Center for the Humanities.  This lecture was originally broadcast on July 23, 2017.
