WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Forecasters say there are no reports of damage after a severe storm system generated at least five tornadoes Saturday night in northwest Kansas. Meteorologist Vanessa Pearce says the tornadoes formed in sparsely populated rural areas near the towns of Grinnell and Selden. She says some flash flooding was reported in northwest Kansas, including in the town of St. Francis and near Wheeler.

Spring Storm Brings Snow, Tornado Warnings and Flooded Roads to Colorado
DENVER (AP) — A spring storm brought snow, hail, power outages, tornado warnings and flooded roads to Colorado over the weekend. Major flood warnings were issued Sunday for the South Platte River in Weld, Morgan, Washington and Logan counties. Forecasters urged people to be prepared to evacuate. Nearly 18 inches of snow fell in southern Colorado. A tornado was spotted south of Ellicott east of Colorado Springs on Saturday, but no damage or injuries were reported. Golf-ball size hail fell east of Pueblo. Scattered power outages were reported on the Front Range, including Ward, Gold Hill and parts of Four Mile Canyon near Boulder. In northeastern Colorado, several roads and highways, including parts of Colorado 54, 71 and 113, were closed by flooding, along with a highway near Colorado Springs.
