A new kind of sport is quickly rising in popularity, but this one doesn’t involve running, jumping, or throwing a ball. In fact, you don’t even have to leave your seat. Competitive gaming, also known as Esports, is expected to reach 84 million U.S. viewers by 2021. KPR News Intern Isabel Ashley tells us how Esports is making its way onto college campuses, including hers.

The University of Kansas recently announced it will have its own varsity Esports team in place by January. Other Kansas schools, like Barton Community College, expect to have their own Esports teams in place sometime next year.
