Memorial Service Held for KU Professor Elden Tefft

Longtime University of Kansas professor and renowned artist Elden Tefft died last week at the age of 95. As KCUR’s Cody Newill explains, he leaves behind an important legacy.


Elden Tefft was born in 1919 in Hartford, Kansas.  He died on Tuesday at the age of 95.  Services were held at 2pm today (MON) at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
