LIEAP Applications Available

The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services has begun accepting applications for its Low Income Energy Assistance Program, or LIEAP (LEEP). The program helps low income people with their winter heating bills. It particularly targets persons with disabilities, the elderly and families with children. Michelle Ponce (PAWN-say) is a spokesperson for S-R-S.

Anyone already receiving any kind of help from S-R-S should be receiving an application for the LIEAP (LEEP) program in the mail. Others who think they might qualify should contact an SRS office.
