KU Holds Conference on Slavery & Human Trafficking

A Conference on Slavery and Human Trafficking continues today (FRI) at the University of Kansas. Governor Sam Brownback spoke at the event last (THUR) night and pointed to the state's history of fighting slavery.

Experts say there are currently 27 million slaves in the world. That's twice the number of people taken from Africa during the Atlantic slave trade.
