KU Basketball Celebrates 115th Anniversary

More than 200 former University of Kansas men's basketball coaches, players, and managers will be recognized at halftime during the KU - Texas Christian University game. This year marks the 115th anniversary of men's basketball at the University of Kansas, which began in 1898 under basketball founder and coach James Naismith. Among those recognized today (SAT) will be the 1988 NCAA National Championship men's basketball team.  In honor of their 25th anniversary, the Jayhawks will be wearing retro attire for the KU-TCU game, resembling the team uniforms and warmups worn by the 1988 team.
