The Kansas Department of Agriculture announced last week that it would move its offices from Topeka to Manhattan. Secretary of Agriculture Dale Rodman says officials at the Kansas State University Foundation made the suggestion.
K-State will build the new 50,000 square foot facility, which the university will then lease to the Ag Department. Rodman says the move will allow department staff and K-State researchers to work together more efficiently.
