KPR Presents: "The Savior" by Eugene Drucker

Week of January 31, 2021: We celebrate the 750th episode of KPR Presents with a favorite conversation from the KPR archives -- Eugene Drucker of the Emerson String Quartet is the author of "The Savior," the haunting story of a violinist forced to play at a German concentration camp.  This program originally aired in January 2008.

Love to read? We do too!  Join our new KPR Presents Book Club, a chance to read and discuss books together.  Our first KPR Presents Book Club selection is "Ladybird, Collected," a collection of essays on food and community by Meg Heriford of the renowned Ladybird Diner in downtown Lawrence.  Pick up your copy of "Ladybird, Collected" at www.ladybirddiner.com or at The Raven Bookstore, and then join us March 31st for an online conversation with Meg Heriford.  Look for more information about the KPR Presents Book Club in the weeks ahead on Kansas Public Radio's Facebook page.
