KPR Presents: Kwame Anthony Appiah

Who do you think you are? And what do you think you are? Moral philosopher and public intellectual Kwame Anthony Appiah explores those questions in his latest book, "The Lies that Bind: Rethinking Identity" and in his (virtual) appearance this week at KU's Hall Center for the Humanities Summer Speaker Series. In this encore presentation from the KPR Presents archives, we revisit Appiah's 2007 Hall Center Lecture, "Making Sense of Moral Conflict."

Note: Kansas Public Radio does not have permission to make this lecture available on demand, so be sure to tune in to one of the above broadcast times.

Kaye starts her weekends the same way you do: with Weekend Edition Saturday, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life, and To the Best of Our Knowledge. She started at Kansas Public Radio in 2001; in 2006, she became the producer of our weekly public affairs program, KPR Presents. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and attend theater.
