KPR Presents: Fall Semester at the Dole Institute of Politics

Week of September 5, 2021: The Dole Institute of Politics at the University of Kansas kicks off its fall semester this week with a return to in-person programs. Join Kaye McIntyre and the Dole Institute's Audrey Coleman for a preview of the fall programs, including their September 11th exhibit and upcoming talk from broadcasting legend Bill Kurtis. We'll also hear Episode 6 of "Where It Hurts," exploring the closing of Mercy Hospital and the effect on the health, economy, and sense of community of Fort Scott.

Kaye starts her weekends the same way you do: with Weekend Edition Saturday, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life, and To the Best of Our Knowledge. She started at Kansas Public Radio in 2001; in 2006, she became the producer of our weekly public affairs program, KPR Presents. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and attend theater.
