Week of May 15, 2022: He's a neurosurgeon, an Emmy-Award winning journalist, the author of several best-selling books, and the latest recipient of the prestigious William Allen White National Citation. This week on KPR Presents, Dr. Sanjay Gupta's remarks from William Allen White Day at the University of Kansas, April 21, 2022. We'll also learn about the connection between Kansas and one of the most iconic images of fighting wildfires: Smokey Bear. It's the latest episode of "Kansas 1972" from Humanities Kansas.
