Kansas Senators Vote to Repeal Parts of Obamacare but Effort Fails

Kansas Senator Jerry Moran was among the Republicans voting in favor of the so-called “skinny repeal” bill early Friday. The bill to take some parts of the Affordable Care Act off the books failed, 51-49.
Kansas Senator Jerry Moran was among the Republicans voting in favor of the so-called “skinny repeal” bill early Friday. The bill to take some parts of the Affordable Care Act off the books failed, 51-49.

Both Republican Senators from Kansas voted early this (FRI) morning to repeal parts of the Affordable Care Act. But the overall Republican effort to do away with the Affordable Care Act failed. Jim McLean, of the Kansas News Service, reports.
