Kansas Lawmakers Reach Compromise on KanCare Changes

Many lawmakers opposed the idea of a work requirement for Medicaid recipients. So, they added language to a budget bill to block the governor from making that change.

Kansas lawmakers have reached a compromise with Governor Jeff Colyer on changes that he wants to make in the state’s Medicaid program. Jim McLean, of the Kansas News Service, explains.
