Kansas Lawmakers Push for More Funding for 9-1-1 Emergency Service

Kansas is modernizing 9-1-1 services to allow text, picture and video messaging. It’s part of a nationwide push. But, as Nomin Ujiyediin of the Kansas News Service reports, the state is projected to run out of money for those updates.
