Farmer of the Future Series - Part 3: The Sustainable Hand

One of the big buzz words in agriculture today is “sustainability.” It’s all about making sure natural resources are not depleted or permanently damaged so that we CAN farm into the future. But how best to do this and who’s really making the commitment for the long-term? Harvest Public Media's Jessica Naudziunas has part three in our series on “ The Farmer of the Future.” In this report, she tells us that as more farmers embrace the idea of “sustainability”… their definitions of the meaning of that word will help determine the next generation of farming.

Join us tomorrow (THUR) at this time for part four of our five-part series on the " Farmer of the Future," here on Kansas Public Radio. This series is part of a reporting project called Harvest Public Media. Learn more at HarvestPublicMedia.org.
