Kansas Food Banks Need Help! COVID-19 Outbreak Stretching Resources Thin

The largest food banks in Kansas say they need more donations to help buy food for people who can’t afford to buy groceries for their families. For the Kansas News Service, Nomin Ujiyediin reports from Lawrence.

Or, consider making a contribution to HarvestersHarvesters is a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northeastern Kansas and northwestern Missouri. Harvesters provides food and related household products to more than 760 nonprofit agencies including emergency food pantries (like Just Food in Lawrence), community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others.
