Legislative leaders don’t want to spend any more time on Medicaid expansion when they return to the Statehouse to finish the session. And more likely than not, they’ll be able to keep the issue bottled up in committee. But as Jim McLean of the KHI News Service reports, that could change if more legislators return with concerns about how the state’s rejection of expansion is affecting the hospitals in their own districts.
