The federal agency responsible for running the new online health insurance marketplace in Kansas and several other states is promising that the problems with the system will be fixed by the end of November. Jim McLean of the KHI News Service has our update.
The state's other U.S. Senator, Republican Pat Roberts, has been calling for the resignation of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. But the former Kansas governor says she has no intention of stepping down. Sebelius is likely to face tough questions tomorrow (WED) when she testifies before a House committee investigating the problems with the healthcare.gov website.
