Tucked away inside the Green Room, on the second floor of Kansas Public Radio, is a revolving art exhibit, featuring the works of area artists. Our latest exhibit featured works from artists at Cottonwood, Inc. in Lawrence. We'd like to show you more artworks from our most recent exhibit but many of the pieces were quickly purchased and have since left the building. The art exhibits at Kansas Public Radio are one of KU's best-kept secrets (like the Sensory Garden next door at Audio-Reader) but we hope you'll plan a trip soon to see what's on display. Call ahead and check on current exhibits. Most of the artwork exhibited at KPR is available for sale.
Do you know any artists who would like to showcase their work at Kansas Public Radio? Just contact Feloniz Lovato-Winston (fwinston@ku.edu) or Joanna Fewins (jobeth@ku.edu) for more information. Or call the station at (888) 577-5268 and ask for Felly or Joanna.
Thanks to Sarah Brown, the Retirement Enrichment Coordinator at Cottonwood, Inc. for helping to make this exhibit possible.
