Our latest Cinema a Go-Go crawls into Liberty Hall with a pair of classic ‘50s sci-fi extravaganzas — The Crawling Eye and The Creeping Unknown. Both based on British TV serials, these low budget masterpieces have it all — giant tentacled eyeballs, large creeping blobs from outer space, headless corpses, oozy slime trails and other fun stuff. It’s just the thing for a family night at the movies.
Join us at Liberty Hall in downtown Lawrence, Friday, April 22. Tickets $8, available at the doors, which open at 6:30 p.m. And, of course, we’ll be giving away stuff from the Retro Cocktail Hour prize closet at intermission.

Some pretty fantastic movie lines:
Climber1: "You idiot we nearly had him, why did you let him go?"
Climber2: "Didn't you see?"
Climber1: "What are you talking about?"
Climber2: "His head, it was torn off!"
A Crawling Eye screaming in pain.
