Shawnee County General Election info

Shawnee County Election Commissioner Andrew Howell would like to remind Shawnee County registered voters of several items in advance of the April 7th General Election.
 First, voters may view their Sample Ballots and find the location of their Voting Place at: Due to the configuration of the various districts including those for city elections, school board members and drainage district directors, Howell said there are many different ballot styles in Shawnee County for this election.  Sample Ballots allow voters to review which candidates are on the ballot for their specific voting precinct prior to voting.  There is also a ballot question for all City of Topeka voters regarding the duties of the mayor. It is important for voters to cast ballots at their designated voting place in order to vote the ballot for their given precinct.
