Description: The cannon known as Old Sacramento had a colorful and mysterious history before it came to rest as a treasured artifact at the Watkins. In this online event, Dr. Eduardo Rosa-Molinar, Director of the Microscopy and Analytical Imaging Research Resource Core Laboratory, will tell the fascinating story of the University of Kansas team that investigated the cannon’s origins, and detail what they discovered about this famous gun.
