March Story Book Science

Wednesday, March 3, 2021 - 10:00

Description: Story Book Science in March will be focused on National Parks! Join us every Wednesday at 10am on Facebook for live readings and fun, hands-on STEM Challenge activities led by the KU Natural History Museum Education Coordinator, Colleen MacGilvray. This month we’ll learn about Marjory Stoneman Douglas, and her work saving the Everglades and we’ll explore the Grand Canyon. We’ll also learn about the Lion Queens of India, a group of women rangers who established a national park in India where Asiatic lions now thrive.
