Description: KU Natural History Museum,  No Guts, No Glory: Of sharks and stingrays, and their parasites; with Professor Kirsten Jensen Tuesday, September 25 7:30 pm Bier Station, 120 E Gregory Blvd, Kansas City, MO Invertebrate Zoology curator Kirsten Jensen has journeyed across Taiwan, Mozambique, and Sri Lanka in the past several years in pursuit of an understanding of the parasites of sharks and stingrays. Join us for this event exploring what parasites can tell us about the complexities of the marine ecosystem, and the diversity and marvel of this, often “hidden,” group of organisms. Please note that this talk is upstairs and inaccessible by wheelchair; the talk will be livestreamed on the museum’s Facebook page. More information at biodiversity.ku.edu.
