Description: Jayhawk Audubon Society Program - October 23rd October 23, 2017 - 7:30 p.m. - Free to the public Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 1245 New Hampshire, Lawrence KS The Jayhawk Audubon Society’s October 23rd program, Climate Change & CReSIS Remote Sensing Work in Polar Regions, will feature Dr. John Paden, Associate Scientist at the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS) at the University of Kansas. He will give an overview of the results from the most recent Report of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and also focus on changes in ice sheets and sea ice in the world. Please join the Jayhawk Audubon Society on October 23rd to learn what’s happening at the poles and how it affects the whole planet.
