Description: Join us at the 3rd annual African Language Festival at KU! Through interactive presentations, skits, poetry, music, and other performances, KU students and faculty showcase their African languages skills. Languages represented include Arabic, Kiswahili, Wolof and more. * Cake and refreshments will be served! * This event is free and open to all with an interest in Africa and its Diaspora. Presented by the Department of African and African-American Studies and the Kansas African Studies Center, with the generous support of the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, KU International Programs, Department of French, Francophone and Italian Studies, Center for Global & International Studies, Center for Latin American & Caribbean Studies, KU Institute for Haitian Studies, Office of Multicultural Affairs.
