KPR Membership Is Now More Important Than Ever

Listen to KPR starting this week for your chance to give back! We'll have special programming designed to inform you on just how you can help us reach our goal. KPR is almost entirely dependent on listener support. It's listeners like you that make it possible for us to stay on the air. Thank you!

During our fall membership drive, we hope you take a moment to renew your pledge or become a new member. KPR is a listener-supported public radio station. Listeners help pay for thought-provoking, well-crafted and informative programs. Listeners also pay for transmitters, computers, electricity – everything it takes to bring you those programs – even as we continue to broadcast almost entirely from home studios.

And this fall we have a great week of incentives for you to give, including:

Power Breakfast - Call in your pledge - 888-577-5268 - on Friday, 9/11, 7:30-9 a.m., to DOUBLE your pledge of any amount! (Thanks to 129 listener-members, we raised almost $24,000 during our Power Breakfast.)
Sustaining Member Monday - An anonymous Topeka donor has pledged $10,000 if we get 150 new or upgrading Sustainers on Monday, 9/14(We made the goal!)
Furs-day - On Thursday, 9/17, we’re partnering with the Lawrence Humane Society to recognize member pets all day. When you make a gift, Hy-Vee will provide a high-need item to the Lawrence Humane Society, and if you give $10/month or more, we’ll send you a KPR custom-designed bandana.*

Thank-You Gifts:

And on top of all that, for this drive only, we have two KPR-branded thank-you gifts! For every donation of $120 ($10/month) or more,* you can claim a KPR mask (while supplies last), as well as a KPR bandana (ONLY available on Thursday, 9/17). See below for pictures of these items. And if you're already a Sustainer, it's just an additional gift of $60+ or an upgrade of $5/month or more to qualify for either thank-you gift.

Many thanks to River Rat Print and Skate for providing the custom-designed masks and bandanas for this membership drive.

*Sustainers need only increase their monthly donation by $5/mo or more or make a one-time additional gift of $60+ to qualify!

If you are already a Sustaining member, there are a couple ways to upgrade your membership:

If you are giving via EFT or KU Payroll Deduction and would like to upgrade your installment amount, please send a request via email or mail to Membership Director Joanna Fewins, at 1120 W 11th St, Lawrence, KS 66044. If you would like to increase your monthly credit card contributions, click here to enter a new monthly plan (your old one will be canceled), or you may call the pledge line starting Friday, September 11, at 888-577-5268 and tell the volunteer you'd like to upgrade. They will need your credit card number again in order to enter a new plan.
