Spring Into Giving and Support Public Radio!

500-goal_web.jpg

YOUR support is more important now than ever. KPR is officially living in its new financial reality as a $200,000 budget cut from the University of Kansas has taken effect. That's why we're turning to you - our loyal listener - to support the station you love.

We’re in this together, so please consider making a pledge today. Membership gifts are the key to KPR’s ability to provide the high-quality music, news and entertainment that you expect. Whether it’s our locally produced classical and jazz shows or our award-winning news coverage, you can count on KPR for 8,760 hours of high-quality programming each year.

As KPR addresses budget cuts, we’ve set a goal of 500 New or Sustaining donors.* Follow along as we make daily updates to reach our goal, and become a part of the KPR crew by donating now. Or join in during the upcoming on-air membership drive, beginning Wednesday, April 4.

*If you are already a Sustaining member, there are a couple ways to upgrade your membership:

If you are giving via EFT or KU Payroll Deduction and would like to upgrade your installment amount, please send a request via email or mail to Membership Director Joanna Fewins, at 1120 W 11th St, Lawrence, KS 66044. If you would like to increase your monthly credit card contributions, click here to enter a new monthly plan (your old one will be canceled), or you may call the pledge line starting Wednesday, April 4, at 888-577-5268 and tell the volunteer you'd like to upgrade. They will need your credit card number again in order to enter a new plan.

Here’s another great reason to be a KPR member—the KPR MemberCard. When you give $120 or more, you’ll be able to take advantage of hundreds of dining, lodging, health & wellness, and entertainment opportunities throughout the Kansas City area and across northeast and east-central Kansas, giving you “2-for-1 entrees” or other savings at your favorite restaurants and museums. Click HERE for more information.
