Donations Matched for One Day Only During KPR's June Mini-Drive

givenowforthosewhocant_fb-ad-metatag.png

Thank you all for your listenership and support for KPR as we navigate through this challenging time in our nation and our community. As the world around us is changing - daily - we determined that it was in the best interest of our community to reduce our on-air presence during the Spring Membership Drive. While we saw great support from listeners, our drive still fell $55,000 short of a typical spring campaign, and we have lost a significant portion of our private support due to the economic downturn.

KPR will be taking to the airwaves Friday, June 26, asking for your support to recoup lost funds due to COVID-19.

A generous group of donors has provided a challenge pool of more than $30,000 that will last ALL DAY Friday, June 26. If you're in a financial position to help out, please give us a call at 888-577-5268* or make a pledge at kansaspublicradio.org/support and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar!

Membership gifts are the key to KPR’s ability to provide the high-quality music, news and entertainment that you expect. Whether it’s our locally-produced classical and jazz shows or our award-winning news coverage, you can count on KPR for 8,760 hours of programming each year. Thank you for your support!

*Please Note: While staff are prepared to take pledges over the phone, we are also using a trusted call center out of Texas we've worked with for many years to answer any overflow pledges during this drive.

*If you are already a Sustaining member, there are a couple ways to upgrade your membership:

If you are giving via EFT or KU Payroll Deduction and would like to upgrade your installment amount, please send a request via email or mail to Membership Director Joanna Fewins, at 1120 W 11th St, Lawrence, KS 66044. If you would like to increase your monthly credit card contributions, click here to enter a new monthly plan (your old one will be canceled), or you may call the pledge line now at 888-577-5268 and tell them you'd like to upgrade. They will need your credit card number again in order to enter a new plan.
