A: Barton County Community College (in Great Bend)

Barton Community College is located near Great Bend. The two-year school has been in existence for less than 50 years, but its track & field program alone has already produced 29 Olympians. Eleven current or former athletes at Barton have been competing in the London Olympics – nine in track & field events, two others in basketball. The fastest American in history - Tyson Gay – began his collegiate career at Barton. Go Cougars!
