Cars, or… Automotive Things You Should Know About Your State - August 15, 2012

Q: There’s only one accredited institution in the world that offers a four-year bachelor’s degree in automotive restoration – and it’s located in Kansas. What’s the name of this school?

A: McPherson College

Located in the central Kansas town of McPherson, McPherson College is the only accredited school in the world that offers a four-year bachelor’s degree in automotive restoration. Here, students work on restoring a wide range of vehicles - from the early 1900s horseless carriages up through the muscle car era.

Fun Factoid: Tonight Show host Jay Leno, who collects classic cars, is a big supporter of McPherson College, where he’s established two scholarships.
