mugyourdesignhere.jpg

Back by popular demand, Kansas Public Radio is ready to host our 2nd Annual KPR Mug Design Contest! KPR is looking for your unique design to place on the 2020 KPR Membership Mug that we will give out to members of KPR at our Ice Cream Social at Maceli's in downtown Lawrence on June 18, 2020.*

If you love public radio, then we want you to contribute your design! One design will be featured on the 2020 KPR coffee mugs. The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate from Downtown Lawrence, Inc., free tickets to upcoming KPR events for the year, an Amazon Alexa, and two of the mugs with your design printed on them. The runner-up will receive a $25 Raven Book Store gift certificate, a $25 Burger Stand gift card, and free tickets to KPR events for the year.

Your design needs to emphasize either Kansas, Community Connections, Radio, or all three. It must also contain the words Kansas Public Radio, KPR, or our actual logo which is downloadable below. The design needs to be 8 1/4" W x 3 3/4" H, you are allowed a full color scheme, and it must be submitted as a vector PDF.

Please submit your final design by Friday, March 6, 2020, 11:59 p.m. (Central) with your name, phone number, and email address to Bobbi Washechek at  bwashechek@ku.edu.

The first round of judging will begin March 9-10, 2020, and the online judging will begin March 11-16, ending at 11:59 p.m. We will announce the winner and the runner up the week of March 23.

By participating in this contest, both winner and participants grant Kansas Public Radio permission to use their names and designs. The winner of the contest will waive any rights to their design. The design must be your own work and must not contain any copyrighted materials.

We look forward to seeing all of your unique and original designs! Please feel free to reach out to  bwashechek@ku.edu with any questions regarding the competition.

*KPR & Audio-Reader employees and their families are not eligible to compete.
