 80,000 feet over lake Pomona This photo was recorded by a near spacecraft I launch on July 18th from Topeka. The automated capsule recorded pictures every 30 seconds as its balloon rose at about 1,000 feet per minute. It was tracked by its onboard GPS receiver and recovered in Garnett, KS. Photgrapher: L.
