   The battle over stem cell research has been tough, but it may pale in comparison to what lies ahead. Science is rapidly laying the groundwork for choices that could challenge the very concept of what it means to be human. The fields of law and politics will have to evolve quickly to have any chance of keeping up with these technological advances.
