Lawmakers Consider Massive Aqueduct to Western KS
Kansas lawmakers are at least considering the idea of building a massive, $4.5 billion aqueduct from the Missouri River to western Kansas. One southwest Kansas official is urging legislators to stake a claim now to “high flow” water from the Missouri River. He says the state should reserve the water in case a once-forgotten aqueduct project is revived and funded. We get more from Jim McLean of the KHI News Service.LISTEN:
