New Approach May Help Save the Ogallala Aquifer
The Great Plains area has been suffering through a serious drought for several years, putting a strain on water resources, including the vast Ogallala Aquifer. Every year, teams from the Kansas Geological Survey and other agencies take a survey to measure water levels in central and western Kansas.
