The Amernet String Quartet

Addison Frei and Tahira Clayton

Lawrence native Addison Frei has achieved acclaim as the winner of the American Jazz Pianist Competition and UNISA International Piano Competition (South Africa). Addison returned home in late March for a concert at the Lawrence Arts Center alongside vocalist Tahira Clayton. While Tahira and Addison met at the University of North Texas, they are now based in New York City, performing regularly at venues such as the Kitano, the Cell Theatre and Cornelia Street Cafe.
