The Hardanger fiddle is a traditional Norwegian instrument that is very baroque in nature. The repertoire and dance associated with the music has been evolving for more than 300 years in Norway. The beautifully decorated instrument has 4 or 5 understrings that vibrate sympathetically with the top four bowed strings.
The concert is Friday, February 6, starting at 7:30 p.m., at the North Lawrence train depot. The concert cost is $20. (Student price is $10) Additional information can be found about the local event(s) here https://ingevald.wordpress.com/upcoming-events-schedule/
