The Kansas City Chamber Orchestra opened its 30th season Aug. 27 at the Kauffman Center, and Park University's International Center for Music supplies the soloists.
Faculty members Ben Sayevich, Lolita Lisovskaya-Sayevich, and Daniel Veis will solo in the Beethoven Triple Concerto, and played Arensky at the KPR studio.
Violinist Laurel Gagnon plays Wieniawski's Polonaise Brillante, pianist Jinhong Li plays Chopin's Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise, and cellist Dilshod Narzillaev plays Tchaikovsky's Pezzo Capriccioso.
