IIYM (International Institute for Young Musicians) 7/23/13

The International Institute for Young Musicians program is now in its final week at KU. Dr. Scot McBride Smith brought four more young pianists to our Live Performance Studio. Once again, they amazed us with their talent and skill. Click on Listen to hear 16-year-old Noe Baladad (far left) of Hawaii play the allegro from Mozart's Sonata in B-Flat; 16-year-old Jack Yarbrough (back center) of Alabama play Messiaen's Prelude No. 1, La Colombe; 17-year-old Kai Ono (far right) of California play Pagodes from Debussy's Estampes; and 14-year-old Evelyn Mo (front) of Virginia play Chopin's Ballade No. 1.
