A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THURSDAY.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL MOVE NORTHEAST INTO CENTRAL AND NORTH CENTRAL
  KANSAS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND MOVE EAST AND NORTHEAST ACROSS
  THE AREA IN THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS. MODERATE TO BRIEFLY
  HEAVY SNOWFALL RATES ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH 10 PM WEST OF LINE
  FROM MARYSVILLE TO EMPORIA. ACCUMULATING SNOW SHOULD BE ENDING
  DURING THE DAY THURSDAY...HOWEVER FREEZING DRIZZLE MAY DEVELOP
  THURSDAY AS THE SNOW TAPERS OFF. FREEZING DRIZZLE IS ALSO
  POSSIBLE ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF INTESTATE 35 THIS EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...AMOUNTS FROM ONE TO FOUR INCHES SHOULD BE
  COMMON. LOCAL AMOUNTS AROUND FIVE INCHES ARE POSSIBLE WEST OF A
  LINE FROM MARYSVILLE TO EMPORIA.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN ONE HUNDREDTH OF AN INCH OF ICE
  FROM FREEZING DRIZZLE IS EXPECTED.

* IMPACTS...ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW-PACKED AND SLICK...RESULTING
  IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS THROUGH THE ADVISORY PERIOD.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
