WAW Winner: AP's Sally Buzbee

Kaye McIntyre and Sally Buzbee in KPR studio
Sally Buzbee WAW National Citation Remarks

Week of April 28, 2019: It's a challenging time to be in the news business, but there's plenty of room for opportunity and optimism. That's the message of Sally Buzbee, executive editor of the Associated Press, Olathe native, and recipient of this year's William Allen White National Citation, awarded annually to an outstanding journalist. Join us for an in-studio conversation with Sally Buzbee, followed by her WAW Day presentation, given April 11, 2019, at the University of Kansas Memorial Union.
