Farmers and water specialists are meeting this week in Western Kansas to discuss the steady decline of a critical natural resource for Plains states. The Ogallala Aquifer, an underground reservoir stretching from Texas to South Dakota, is crucial to agricultural irrigation. Ben Kuebrich of High Plains Public Radio reports.
